Art Teachers Certificate this course will be of 40 weeks duration excluding vacations and other holidays. It will run on semester system lines and there will be a minimum 03 33 working hours in a week.
1. Candidate must have passed Intermediate Arts Examination and at least Intermediate Arts/ Science/ Commerce. 2. An In-service candidates should have at least one year teaching experience of Art subjects. 3. Age limit for admission of fresh candidates (Pre-Service) would be 17-22 years. 4. Suitable candidates from amongst Fresh Candidates (Pre-service) will be selected for admission through entrance test followed by an interview. 5. The candidates for admission must possess a good moral character.
Art Masters Certificate
1. Candidate for appearing at the A.M.C examination must have passed A.T.C 2. He/she should have at least two years continuous professional experience after passing A.T.C 3. A candidate for his final selection for appearing at the A.M.C examination will have to fulfill the flowing requirements: - He will submit the specimens of still life, design, expressional painting, representational painting, three each (12 in all) on half imperial size paper. - Sketch book cantaining at least 100 pages of 1/8 of imperial size.
It is expected that after going through the ATC & AMC the prospective teachers would be able to: 1. Practice and transmit the basic Islamic values in conformity with the ideology of Pakistan. 2. Develop a positive attitude towards the teaching of Art. 3. Develop the ability, initiative and skill to communicate and apply the knowledge of Art in practical situation. 4. Identify the needs of the pupils in the field of Art and provide them proper guidance for the same. 5. Explore the indigenous material and prepare their own teaching aids. 6. Develop creative abilities and aesthetics sense among the students.
7. Play an active role in the socio-economic development of the society. 8. Deal with various groups of pupils psychologically. 9. Develop skills in setting and decorating the classrooms and conductive to effective teaching learning process. 10. Develop an attitude of commitment to professional ethics. 11. Help experimentation and observation of teaching learning experiences of ART & Crafts for future improvement. 12. Transmit various skills of Arts and Crafts on ideal and up to date lines. 13. Discuss relationship of Arts and Crafts with other subjects of general and technical education. 14. Discuss relationship of Arts & Crafts with other subjects of general and technical education. 15. Appreciate and express the cultural, social and technological changes in the society.

Un-natural objects: - Domestic utensils (copper, silver, earthen and glass material) - Flower pots - Decorative things (Geometrical shaped articles) - Pieces of threads, ropes and cloth.
